I didn't really like this series until volume 2 (thanks for putting it online, Viz!). There the series really seems to come into it's own. Volume 1 seemed like a lot of set-up (how many chapters does it take to establish the main character's power?) but by volume two the story not only dives into the conspiracy it also becomes much more of an action series (and a really good one at that: the action scenes are exciting and reveal character).

Like I said, I didn't really know how to feel about this series until volume 2, but now I wait on pins and needles for the next chapter to go online.
